god: hey st. francis, you know all about gardens and nature.
what in the world is going on down there in the midwest?

at my open screen door, in search of mama.. i come into the living room (from the kitchen), we exchange glances for a moment, and he beats a hasty retreat.
i am not mama.
.. meantime, finches gather 'round the four birdbaths in my garden and splash about and share the latest birdland gossip.. .
Well, LisaRose, your neighborhood sounds overrun by fowl. Cute about Kitty!
We have a lake here and it's cool to see the geese swimming with their tiny goslings (no ryans) in tow. There were three couples -- goose and gander -- and each had 6 fluff balls madly paddling away in very close proximity.
THANKS!

Hi Skeeter!
There are occasions when screaming like a girl is justified . . .
I'll stand by that, especially if one is of the female persuasion.
Snakes simply are not cuddly and fuzzy. I'm sure someone here, though, might disagree.
Thanks!

Thank you, Zed, for telling us about your peaceable kingdom.
Somehow, it seems all we could possibly need and want to fill the soul is here -- today!
Best to you and yours.

Thank you, Vidiot, for telling us about your herd of deer.
We have 'em aplenty here, along with turkeys, cougars and the occasional bear. None of these beasties concern themselves that our neighborhood is "developed."
Take care.

How are the critters in your neck of the woods? I live in a wood.
Best.

greetings, all those still searching, still wondering .
.. in one of many faith-related books i have read, i recall the author declaring that there's a difference between what we know and what we believe.
while i cannot recall the author nor his commentary, i acknowledge that, while i do know ttatt and that the bible in not without error, yet there's a part of me deep inside that holds onto the so-called spiritual.. how is it for you personally as you make the transition from the invisible to the visible?
MadGiant:
The above is excellent material -- will need some time to digest it . . .
Some thoughts are new, others familiar, yet the package is well put together. !!!
Many thanks for your time and effort.

I appreciate all your replies, dear friends.
Thank you so much for help that assists me with my own struggles. The public talk today was the best I've heard in years: excellent illustrations, logical, coherent development, from-the-heart delivery, sufficient but not overuse of scripture, etc. Yet, . . .
Yes, sometimes when I'm staring at that hamburger, and fries, I don't beleive that it has all of those calories that is on the fact sheets. But, I've been proven wrong many times.
Thanks, Quarterpounder!

Good points, Iown!
Be honest, avoid hypocrisy. It's tough but doable.
THANKS!
